Blue Screen of Death

Postby Reviction on Tue Sep 10, 2013 10:34 pm

So far, I have replaced all the memory by using tanzee's, as well as replacing the graphics card. It happens at any moment, but tends to happen more while playing wow or streaming a video.

Something you can try that can help to alleviate problem is to run Memtest86.

It will test your memory, but that can highlight other problems. If you know that your memory is good and you see memory errors it is your MB. If it crashes in here you can eliminate your video card as the source as this doesn't utilize it. If it hangs/crashes without memory errors it is most likely either heat or a PSU issue (could still possibly be a MB issue but the other two are more likely)

I don't know if that's enough information to pinpoint the real issue, could you share the dump files?

I tired to open them, but they were full of files that couldn't be opened. I read up on this looking through the info that was given and everything seemed to relate back to windows 7 users. For some reason I couldn't update 2 windows 7 updates, they would never follow through. So I went and got windows 8 and installed it. So far so good, I can't DL wow as of yet, but I haven't had any sense of blue screen so far.
